Veterinary physiotherapy
Session cost
Initial consultation and assessment £94
(minimum 1hr)
Consultation, musculoskeletal assessment, targeted veterinary physiotherapy manual treatments and bespoke planning from a fully qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and Equine Veterinary Surgeon. Includes full veterinary physiotherapy report - for client, referring veterinary surgeon and/or insurance company.
(For all new clients or patients not seen in previous six months).
Regular patient veterinary physiotherapy £74
(approx 1hr)
Bespoke follow-up rehabilitation, maintenance or performance physiotherapy sessions for regular patients seen within the last six months.
(Treatment notes are completed as standard for routine work but full reports for third party sharing are only issued on request for a nominal charge).
Targeted treatment £49
(approx 1/2hr)
Shorter, targeted veterinary physiotherapy treatment sessions following initial assessment. Additional charges for electrotherapies or acupuncture may apply.
Reduced session £29-62
(10-45mins)
Discounted session costs priced individually according to complexity/ time, for limited assessments or re-examinations.

Follow-up veterinary acupuncture £70

Bespoke follow-up rehabilitation, maintenance or performance veterinary acupuncture for regular patients and follow-up sessions.

Discounted session cost for decreased complexity/ reduced needle follow-up session.
Bespoke packages available depending on clinical need.

This is an additional total charge per session for individual or combined electrotherapy treatments - only for those patients who would benefit.
Acupuncture £18-22
This is an additional charge for acupuncture in combination with any non-acupuncture veterinary physiotherapy session.
Acupuncture and electrotherapies £28
This is an additional total charge for combined acupuncture and electrotherapies for those patients who would benefit.
Priority visit £20
At our discretion, we will consider urgent or time critical appointments, including evenings and weekends. A priority surcharge will be applied if we cannot schedule them in our regular diary.
Written reports £15
Additional follow-up reports if required.

Detailed written plans for rehabilitation, maintenance or performance.

Additional mileage £0.60 per mile, each way.
Shared visit discount: the total visit fee is divided equally to each horse at a single yard.
Area discount: discretionary discounts may be available for clients booked on efficient travel routes.

Terms
Discounts available for multiple horses (must be at the same yard on the same visit):

All prices are not currently subject to VAT.

Payments can be made by cash, cheque or BACS bank transfer.

Payment terms are strictly payment on the day for new clients, within 14 days for existing clients.

Surcharges including administration fees and interest will be applied on all overdue accounts.

Please give as much notice as possible if a cancellation needs to be made so that your appointment may be offered to another client.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled appointment will incur a £50 surcharge, payable strictly before any subsequent bookings.

On the day cancellations will incur full charges unless otherwise agreed at our discretion.
